Wacky Pineapple Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 15-ounce can of crushed pineapple including the juice
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350º
  • Mix all dry ingredients in one bowl
  • Mix all wet ingredients in another bowl
  • Combine all ingredients and mix well
  • If you haven't already mixed it in your baking pan, pour the batter into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan
  • Bake in preheated 350º oven for 35 - 40 minutes
