Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Use a whisk to remove any lumps. Add the vegan butter and mix well with a large fork, a pastry mixer or just two clean hands.
Add the chocolate chips, walnuts, applesauce, vanilla extract, almond milk, vegan sour cream, and vanilla extract.
Mix just until well combined. Mound scoops of dough with a large spoon onto parchment lined cookie sheet.
